What does ‘accredited’ mean and why is it important?

‘Accredited’ means the College has been inspected by the British Council and has passed the inspection.

The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for educational and cultural relations. It has approximately 130 teaching centres all around the world. In the UK, the British Council regularly inspects schools, colleges and universities which provide English language courses. Any UK English language provider can apply for British Council accreditation.

We are proud to be accredited because the British Council inspection is very thorough and rigorous. It is important to you because you will come to our College knowing that important aspects of your course – the quality of teaching, accommodation, facilities, social programme and student services – meet the high standards required for accreditation. Accreditation is your guarantee of quality.

We are also proud that our tuition fees are among the lowest of any accredited organisation in the UK.

What is EnglishUK?
