English for Cambridge Examinations

Do you already have a good all-round knowledge of general English? If you have and you want a qualification to demonstrate this, an English for Cambridge Examinations course is a good option.  

We provide examination preparation courses for two well-known Cambridge ESOL examinations - Cambridge First Certificate in English and Cambridge Advanced English.

These examinations are recognised internationally and by universities and employers.

‘First Certificate’ is an Upper-Intermediate level examination As its name suggests, ‘Cambridge Advanced’ is an Advanced level examination. If you are successful at this level, it indicates you can use English effectively in a wide range of situations.

You will have extensive practice in all 5 parts of the Cambridge examination you are preparing for, which include speaking, listening, reading, writing and grammar.

Our examination class teachers are very experienced in helping students achieve success in the examinations, and they will give you individual guidance and support.

Practice includes examination tasks and mock exams. Your teacher will also offer you some useful exam tips. You can take your Cambridge ESOL examination in Oxford. Our Student Services team can advise you about this.    

To join an English for Cambridge Examinations course, you will need an Upper-Intermediate level of general English or higher.
